Content Types: Image Response

Learn how users can upload photos from their mobile devices directly into your Cogniss app by using the Image_Response content block.

Written by Vivian Zhang

Introduction

The Image Response content type allows your users to select an image from their mobile device or computer and upload it as a response to an activity.

The short clip below shows you how to find, select, and test this content block's functionality.

Both Mobile and Web Apps support the Image Response content type, allowing users to upload and submit images as part of their responses. This can be used for a variety of scenarios, such as submitting a photo of a meal for a nutrition program, documenting an injury or symptom, completing a visual inspection, or providing proof of task completion.

Supported image formats include .jpeg, .jpg, .png, and .gif. Images are automatically compressed by Cogniss to reduce file size while maintaining usability.
