About the Newsfeed Forum Feature

The Newsfeed Forum feature allows you to add an interactive social forum section to your app's footer navigation that displays as ‘Newsfeed’. When enabled, users will see a "Newsfeed" button in the footer that they can tap to access a social feed that allows users to post and interact with posts from other users.

The newsfeed supports text posts with stickers, engagement features (likes, comments, follows), and activity sharing. Media files (images, videos) are not currently supported.

By default, the news panel is not enabled in your app's footer configuration.

Core Functionality

  • Create and share posts with the app community

  • Engage with content through likes , text comments and sticker comments

  • Follow specific posts to stay updated on conversations that interest you

💡We strongly recommend you to read the Community Forum Moderation Guide to understand content management responsibilities for creating a safer space for your community.
