Overview

Layered Avatars are a versatile way to let users customize their appearance. They work by stacking transparent image layers on top of one another, allowing combinations of face shapes, hairstyles, accessories, and facial expressions to form a complete avatar.

1 . Enable Layered Avatar

Step 1. Go to Creator > Settings.

Step 2. In the User Profile Avatar section, enable Show Profile Avatar to activate avatars for your app.

Step 3. Choose Layered Avatar as the avatar type to enable layered avatars.

Step 4. Select the layers you want to include.

2. Create Layered Avatars

Each layer of the avatar should be created individually on a transparent background, allowing them to seamlessly stack together to form a complete image. Design each layer separately using tools such as Canva or other preferred design platforms. Pay close attention to spacing and alignment to ensure that all layers fit together correctly when combined. Once finalized, export each layer as a transparent PNG to maintain quality and flexibility for stacking.
